Harvest Seasonal Kitchen The Place To Eat In Any Season
Well being a McKinney resident my future wife and I feel it is our duty to try all sorts of new places. From the shopping to the eating. This particular time we decided it was time to eat...and boy was that a great decision. Over the weekend we stopped into the Harvest Seasonal Kitchen. This great little restaurant is located in the heart of Historic Down Town McKinney. Once you walk in you will realize why this is the best place for farm to table food! The atmosphere is family friendly and the staff make you feel right at home! With in a few minutes we had our table and we were ready to chow down. We started with the deviled eggs and a few drinks. The eggs were delicious. The texture smooth and creamy and the pecan was a great addition to add just that right amount of crunch.
The drinks! Oh boy... We had a couple but I need to tell you about this one! The Smoke House. Now I am not a huge Whiskey guy but this was fantastic. It is smoked infused Whiskey and served under a smoked glass with a garnish of brisket! It is worth the $12! Just get it...trust me! Here are a couple photos of that yummy drink!
I ended up having the Chicken Fried Steak and she had the Pork Tenderloin. Both were delicious and just the right amount! We were full after all the food and drinks. The chicken is laid on creamy mashed potatoes and Swiss Chard ... and before you say gross ... oh it was so good! In the end it is a place worth trying! Here is a little more about who they are..

Water Boy Farms is located in Lucas, Texas on the property of Rick and Robbin Wells, co-owners of the restaurant. We produce organic vegetables, flowers, and honey, led by Executive Chef and Master Gardener Andrea Shackelford. The farm is worked all four seasons as a shared effort by our restaurant employees.
